One arrested after a mass brawl in the Charco de San Ginés

The brawl took place in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday and a young man had to be transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital

The Charco de San Ginés was the scene of a mass brawl over the weekend, which ended with a young man arrested and another taken to hospital.

As confirmed by the National Police to La Voz, the events took place at around 01:30 hours, after a 24-year-old man threatened another. After that, a mass brawl broke out, which forced the police forces to intervene.

In addition to agents from the National Police Intervention Unit (UIP) of Las Palmas, who were in Arrecife carrying out a special operation, several Local Police patrols also moved to the area.

The fight resulted in several injuries, although only one of them was treated by the health services and transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital. However, the National Police has stated that his injuries were not serious. As for the rest of the injured, they did not require medical assistance and did not want to file a complaint about the events.

The young man who caused the fight was arrested for a crime of threats and another against public health, as he was carrying drugs at the time of his arrest.
