In the early hours of this Thursday, November 14, a fire on Guatisea Street, in the Los Geranios neighborhood of Altavista, has left three cars and a container completely burned. The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m., when residents alerted the CECOES about the fire that quickly spread.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and managed to control the flames after approximately 50 minutes of intense work. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the material damage is significant. This is not the first incident of this type in the area, as several similar fires have been recorded in recent months, which has generated concern among residents.
Residents have requested increased surveillance and security measures to prevent these incidents from happening again in the future. Local Police officers went to the scene.

Container fires
In addition, the Security and Emergency Consortium acted on the burning of containers on Fray Luis de León and Pablo Picasso streets, both in the Altavista neighborhood.
In the case of Fray Luis de León street, a container of organic waste had burned completely upon the arrival of the firefighters, and they had to proceed to extinguish it, although it was finally burned. After that, they had to go to Pablo Picasso street for another container, which was also completely burned.
