A bus driver suffered this Thursday an altercation with two passengers in Arrecife, as LaProvincia published this Thursday. The bus driver was making the route of Line 3, from Costa Teguise-Puerto del Carmen, when the public transport users confronted the driver at the stop located next to the Insular Library.

The reason for the confrontation was the delay of the bus to start the trip. All the passengers were standing waiting for the arrival of the police forces, due to the recklessness of another user who entered the vehicle without authorization and with the bus full.

The two involved in the fight were very upset about the wait and being late for their jobs. "The atmosphere began to get tense", reasons why insults and threats began towards the driver. "I'll kill you. I'm going to the damn job", they remarked. One of them approached the driver's cabin and began to move the plastic protection curtain and began to berate the person in charge of the vehicle: "Son of a bitch, you piece of fake, I'll kill you, your fucking life, I'm a man like you, I'm going to the damn job, I'm going to get you in the street", he shouted. Later, another man confronted the driver and said: "If I'm not allowed to enter the job because of you, you're going to find out and I'm going to look for you".

A woman of Arab origin, who got on the bus despite being full, tried to stop the passenger from leaving the driver alone. "Canarian son of a bitch", he kept shouting without listening to the advice of those present.
