The National Police has declared the murder of Josué Delgado, known as El Conejero due to his ties to Lanzarote, who was shot dead in June 2025 in Gran Canaria, "fully solved"
In less than 48 hours after the crime, the National Police arrested the first two suspects, A.C.M. and C.F.C.B., whom they accuse of being the material author of the shots and in charge of operational logistics, respectively.
The Justice system ordered provisional imprisonment for both, who have been in jail since the end of June.
During the course of the investigation, and after analyzing images, evidence, intercepted communications, and financial transactions, the Violent Crimes Unit (UDEV) of Telde determined the involvement of two other individuals who had traveled to Gran Canaria on previous dates to carry out essential tasks within the framework of the criminal action.
Two more arrested in Seville and Jaén
The third detainee, identified as B. A. F. R., was arrested on August 7 in the town of Andújar, JaénAccording to the investigation, this individual allegedly arrived on the island days before the commission of the murder to arrange accommodation, finance expenses for the material perpetrators, and coordinate money transfers in the days leading up to the events, leaving Gran Canaria before the crime was carried outThe fourth detainee, D. F. P. N., was located and arrested on November 11 in Umbrete (Seville), in a joint operation between UDEV of Telde and the Homicide Group of Seville.His prior trip to the island was aimed at carrying out surveillance, locating the victim, and providing logistical support, with his involvement in the preparations for the murder being proven
Both detainees were subsequently brought before the court, on August 8 in the case of B. A. F. R. and on November 13 in the case of D. F. P. N., with provisional imprisonment ordered in both instances.
With these arrests, the National Police considers the murder completely solved, having identified, located, and apprehended the four members of the criminal group responsible for the planning, financing, and execution of the events. The investigation remains open solely for possible complementary actions.
