The 14-year-old teenager who was hit on Saturday afternoon on the road from Arrecife to San Bartolomé has died. This was confirmed to La Voz by the Minister of Social Welfare of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Marci Acuña.
The minor was a user of the Casa del Marino minor's center in Arrecife.
The Emergency Coordination Center was alerted at 7:38 p.m. this past Saturday. Thus, agents of the Local Police and a medicalized ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service went to the scene. After being stabilized, he was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital with serious injuries.
