A 60-year-old man has been moderately injured after his van overturned on the Famara road to Teguise, according to CECOES. The driver and sole occupant had to be pulled from the vehicle by firefighters after being trapped inside.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:26 p.m., at which time CECOES was alerted. Agents from the Civil Guard, Local Police, a basic life support ambulance, and the Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene.
The healthcare personnel assisted the affected individual, who suffered various moderate traumas, and after being immobilized, he was transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital.

It so happens that a 58-year-old man who was walking near the accident suffered a cardiac episode and had to be transferred in a medicalized ambulance to Molina Orosa, according to La Voz from a witness.
These two incidents have caused major traffic jams on the road, which had to be regulated by police officers. The Civil Guard has carried out the corresponding procedures.
