Local Police agents from Yaiza intervened last Friday, January 11, in a call center in Playa Blanca, seizing a "sandwich" with 400 grams of hashish after being alerted to the possible existence of drug dealing in said establishment.
Upon arriving at the premises and identifying its owner, a 44-year-old man of foreign origin who was present at the time of the operation, the police proceeded to carry out an inspection among the shelves of the call center, immediately locating several bags of bread, among which was a "sandwich" prepared with a bread and two tablets of hashish with an approximate weight of 400 grams wrapped in transparent plastic.
The agents carried out an exhaustive inspection of the premises and arrested the owner, who was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for the alleged commission of a crime against public health. The man had already been arrested at the end of 2018 for similar events, when the Local Police of Yaiza seized an approximate amount of 2.5 kilos of hashish.
