The lifeless body of a man has been recovered from the sea this Friday at the height of the Quíquere Ravine, located between Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero. The alert was received shortly after 4:00 p.m., when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) was notified of the discovery of a body floating in that area.
Personnel from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, as well as members of Emerlan, the Civil Guard and the Local Police, have traveled to the scene. It was the Emerlan NGO boat that recovered the body of the deceased and was in charge of transferring it to the Muelle de la Tiñosa, in Puerto del Carmen, where the judicial authority took charge of the corpse.
