The GES helicopter has rescued the body and transferred it to the airport, where it has been taken over by the Civil Guard.

The GES helicopter rescued this Tuesday the lifeless body of a man, which was located floating on the Madera de Tinajo beach, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands

At approximately 4:16 p.m., 112 received an alert reporting that a body had been located floating face down about 300 meters from the aforementioned beach, so the necessary emergency resources were immediately activated.

The GES helicopter carried out the recovery of the body and, following instructions from the judicial authority, transferred it to the Lanzarote airport, where it was taken over by the Civil Guard. Local Police collaborated with the intervening resources.
