This Friday, healthcare personnel managed to save the life of a woman who wanted to commit suicide by setting fire to her house in Arrecife.
The event took place around 4:48 p.m. when CECOES was alerted to the fire caused by a person in their house on Cardenal Cisneros Street in the capital of Lanzarote. Two SUC ambulances and the Emergency Consortium went to the scene.
The paramedics took the woman out of the house and extinguished the small fire before the firefighters arrived. They later transferred the affected woman by ambulance to Molina Orosa for evaluation.
For their part, the firefighters verified that there were no more active outbreaks inside the home.
