The National Police have arrested a fugitive wanted internationally by the authorities of Belgium in Granadilla de Abona, south of Tenerife, for his alleged involvement in human trafficking and membership of a criminal group, with a prison sentence of up to 20 years.
The request for urgent location and arrest was received on October 13, 2025, and the investigation focused on several possible addresses in the town of Los Abrigos.
There, a vehicle with foreign license plates linked to the suspect was detected, and the agents, after confirming the identity of the fugitive, proceeded to his arrest without incident and to place him at the disposal of the judicial authority.
