Five people have been injured to varying degrees in a head-on collision between two cars at the intersection of the LZ 1 with the LZ-207, near the Diseminado de Tabyesco, in Haría.
The accident occurred at around 16:40 this Tuesday when CECOES received the alert. Three ambulances, one medicalized and two basic life support, the Emergency Consortium and the Civil Guard, were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival of the emergency services, the Firefighters had to free one of the injured from inside one of the cars involved in the accident. The rest had left on their own.
The health personnel have assessed and assisted five people, a 50-year-old woman who presented with moderate abdominal trauma and a 17-year-old boy who presented with moderate multiple contusions, a 60-year-old man who presented with moderate multiple contusions, a 16-year-old girl who presented with mild chest pain and a 50-year-old man who presented with mild cervicalgia.
The three moderately injured people have been transferred by ambulance to Molina Orosa, while the two mildly affected have been evacuated to Hospiten in Puerto del Carmen.
The Civil Guard has been in charge of regulating traffic on the road and has carried out the corresponding report.
