A vehicle was completely incinerated in the early hours of this Friday, November 21, in the Titerroy neighborhood of Arrecife, according to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium.
The alert was received around 03:40 hours, when the CECOES reported a fire on Doctor Severo Ochoa street in the capital of Lanzarote. A unit from the Central Park, along with agents from the Local Police of Arrecife, was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed that the vehicle involved was completely engulfed in flames, so they proceeded to extinguish it using water. During the operation, it was detected that another car parked nearby was damaged due to the intense radiant heat generated by the flames.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the causes of the fire are currently unknown. Authorities are investigating what happened
