Two people have died and a third has been injured in a head-on collision on the LZ1 near the Mala bridge, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The accident took place at approximately 9.15 am this Sunday, when CECOES was alerted to a head-on collision with people trapped in the cars.
The two drivers of the vehicles, a 21-year-old man and a foreign woman in her 40s, died at the scene. A third person, a 26-year-old woman, was seriously injured with multiple injuries and was evacuated by ambulance to Molina Orosa.

Agents from the Local Police, the Civil Guard, Civil Protection, firefighters and three ambulances from the Canary Islands Health Service have traveled to the scene.
The firefighters were in charge of securing the vehicles because one of them had overturned due to the impact and later released the people.
The Civil Guard was in charge of carrying out the corresponding procedures. For their part, Local Police and Civil Protection have collaborated with the emergency services.
