This Thursday, in the early morning hours, an emergency intervention was carried out at the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife, where the Security and Emergency Consortium was called to remove a ring from a patient.
According to information provided by the Security and Emergency Consortium, the request arrived around 05:52 hours, asking for assistance to cut the ring which, for unknown reasons, could not be removed conventionally. Given the urgency of the case, a specialized team was deployed that used pliers to safely cut the ring, concluding the intervention without incident.
The service, which was completed at 06:30 AM, took place at the Molina Orosa Hospital, located in the Central Park of Arrecife. The rapid response of the emergency teams avoided further complications for the patient, who is now out of danger after the intervention
These types of operations, although not frequent, are part of the daily work of the Security and Emergency Consortium, which is prepared to handle any situation requiring its intervention, from rescues to medical emergencies like the one on Thursday.
