Emergencies rescues a patient from inside a vessel in the Marina of Arrecife

Emergency personnel collaborated with the SUC and Port Police in the transfer of the affected person to the ambulance on Monday afternoon

Personnel from the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote intervened on Monday afternoon, February 9, at the Marina of Arrecife to collaborate in the rescue and transfer of a patient who was inside a vessel.

The operation began at 18:06 hours, after the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 requested the collaboration of emergency resources after receiving a notice from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), which required support to extract the affected person from the boatOnce at the location, the officers were received by the Port Police at the entrance of the Marina, from where they were guided to the vessel on which the patient was located. In coordination with the health personnel, they proceeded to place the affected person on a rescue board, securing him with straps to guarantee his stability during the maneuverSubsequently, the patient was safely extracted from inside the vessel and transferred to the SUC stretcher. The emergency teams also collaborated in his transfer to the ambulance, where he remained under the care of the paramedics
