The firefighters went to a rescue on Tuesday night around 9:30 p.m. after receiving a call alerting them to a person who was asking for help in the Playa del Papelillo area, in Famara, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
When the troops arrived, the Local Police were already at the scene, and they indicated the specific area from where the cries for help were coming. Subsequently, they toured the top of the cliff and the coast to try to locate the person.
The firefighters proceeded to remain silent and listen to find the person but obtained no results. Therefore, they carried out a search with a drone but only located goats, so they decided to expand the search radius.
However, the search efforts were unsuccessful, so they terminated the service.
