Investigators have not seen signs of criminality in the discovery of the corpses of two young people in apartments in the south of Tenerife, who died as a result of an overdose of narcotic substances, National Police sources have told EFE.

The corpses were found last Friday in a state of decomposition and, according to the preliminary report of the forensic doctors, the death of these two young people, aged 23, does not contemplate the intervention of other people, the newspaper 'El Día' reported this Sunday.

The corpses correspond to an Italian man and a Canarian woman of Argentine origin, whose corpses were found in a room in the Caledonia Park apartment complex, in the San Eugenio area, in Costa Adeje.

Police sources have commented that investigators have not found any indication of criminality in the apartment where the corpses were found, in an advanced state of decomposition, to which the police went after receiving warnings about the bad smell coming from it.
