Agents of the Citizen Attention Operational Group (GOAC) of the Local Police of Arrecife sanctioned a driver last Saturday for carrying a knife with a 17-centimeter blade under one of the seats of the car in Argana Alta.

The events occurred on Saturday morning at 11:40 a.m. when agents saw how some individuals were trying to avoid the police presence in the neighborhood. For this reason, the police stopped the car and after carrying out the checks, they detected that the car in which they were traveling had expired Mandatory Car Insurance and the Technical Vehicle Inspection (ITV), however, the sticker stating that it had passed said inspection was stuck on the windshield.

Finally, the individual has been investigated for a minor crime of improper use of the ITV certificate, for which he could be sentenced to pay a fine of three to six months and has also been sanctioned for three administrative infractions, according to police sources.
