A man died on Tuesday afternoon after falling from a pergola in the tourist town of Playa Blanca in the municipality of Yaiza. This has been confirmed by sources from the Civil Guard and the Emergency Coordination Center to the newspaper La Provincia.
The man, 52 years old and a resident of San Bartolomé, fell from a height of three meters. After being treated, he died while being transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) from Playa Blanca to the Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital of Lanzarote.
