Cyclist injured after falling in Lanzarote

A 47-year-old cyclist has been injured this Sunday after suffering a fall in the Charco de San Ginés area, in Arrecife, according to CECOES.

The events occurred around 12:57 PM, at which time the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert about a cyclist's fall.

After that, a basic life support ambulance was dispatched to the scene. Health personnel assessed and assisted the affected person, who at the time of assistance presented injuries of a moderate nature.

After being assisted, she was transferred by ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The Local Police of Arrecife also went to the scene, and they were in charge of carrying out the corresponding report and regulating traffic.
