The César Manrique-Lanzarote airport has had crosswind problems this Thursday morning, February 22, which have caused "delays and waits in air traffic for safety", according to Air Controllers on their X account (formerly Twitter).
"Inter-island traffic to Lanzarote remains on the ground until the situation improves," explained the Air Controllers from their social network.
Sources from Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (AENA) have indicated to La Provincia that around 3:20 p.m. normality has been restored after "a bit of impact on operations due to delays due to the wind."
