Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote have smothered the fires of three containers in Charco del Palo and another in Aires de Lima street in Arrecife during the early hours of this Sunday.
Alerted by the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES), the firefighters went to the last puddle of Charco del Palo at 05.38 in the morning. Once there, they had to extinguish the flames that affected three containers in their entirety.
The affected containers, one organic, another glass and a third plastic, were unusable.
Meanwhile, they also had to put out the fire in a fourth container on Aires de Lima street in the capital of Lanzarote. In this case it was an organic container. After extinguishing with water and foam, the service was completed.
