The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium carried out this Sunday, June 29, the rescue of a cat that had been trapped for several days on the roof of an uninhabited house, located on Seguidilla Street, in the Parque Central area of Arrecife.

As reported by the Consortium itself, the notice was received at 3:15 p.m., alerting of the presence of the animal at the top of the building. Upon arriving at the place, a neighbor provided the contact of the owner of the house, who authorized access through the roof.

Thanks to the intervention with a turntable ladder, the troops managed to access the elevated area and rescue the feline without incident. The witness who raised the alarm pledged to take care of the animal after the operation.
