A cat was trapped in a cistern on Tahoyo street in the town of Máguez, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium. The Local Police activated the firefighters to go to the area.
Once on the scene, the emergency team confirmed that the feline was in a cistern between four and five meters deep with little water.
The animal was unharmed and located in a dry area. The rescue was carried out with a rope ladder and, after taking it out of the cistern, it was left in charge of a person who collaborates with the City Council who offered it water and food.
