A vehicle in motion burned in its entirety this Saturday, February 21, around 1:00 PM, in the municipality of San Bartolomé, according to the Security and Emergencies Consortium.

The notice was received through Cecoes via communication by Senda and, subsequently, by telephone call, alerting to a vehicle fire. Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, the officers confirmed that the car was engulfed in flames.

The Local Police of San Bartolomé had proceeded to close the road until the arrival of the firefighters to guarantee safety in the area. The emergency personnel began extinguishing the fire using water and, subsequently, foam to completely put out the flames.

Later, the Guardia Civil de Tráfico, which collaborated in the operation, moved to the site. Once the fire was controlled, the firefighters reapplied foam to prevent a possible reactivation of the fire.

The Civil Guard took charge of the burnt vehicle until the arrival of the tow truck.
