A sailboat ran aground this Sunday, June 14, around 2:00 PM, in the vicinity of Lobos Island, which activated a coordinated emergency device after the Civil Guard's alert.

According to the official account of Maritime Rescue on the social network X, the Civil Guard patrol boat communicated the incident to the coordination center in Las Palmas, which immediately mobilized the rescue unit Salvamar Al Nair.

After arriving at the scene of the incident, the rescue teams remained waiting for the tide to rise, at which point the sailboat could be refloated without apparent damage.

Once the correct engine start and navigation safety were confirmed, Salvamar Al Nair proceeded to release the rope and conclude the intervention, confirming the return to normality in the maritime area.
