Agents of the Local Police of Arrecife arrested on Halloween night a 31-year-old man for a crime of robbery with violence in an attempted degree and for a crime of obscene exhibitionism before minors.
The events happened when a family was approached by two people who offered two gold chains for sale. "Faced with their refusal to purchase the products, one of them pounced on the mother of the family with the intention of stealing the chain she was wearing," they point out from the City Council. In addition, they explain that when the 11-year-old girl tried to defend her mother, "she also received a blow that made her fall to the ground."
The other man then fled the area, but the aggressor, according to the complaint, began to scold and threaten the family with death, "to later lower his pants and perform obscene touching."
After the Local Police were alerted, the agents proceeded to arrest the alleged perpetrator of the events, who is scheduled to appear in court this Wednesday.
