The Local Police of Arrecife Sanctions a Business for Non-Compliance with the Ordinance During the Weekend

These preventive controls in some streets and neighborhoods of Arrecife closed in the early hours of Saturday, with three people caught with drugs

The agents of the Local Police of Arrecife have carried out different preventive controls in several nightlife areas of the city during the nights and early mornings of this weekend. These police deployments seek to ensure citizen security and ensure that establishments dedicated to nightlife comply with their opening hours and correctly carry out the activities specified in their opening licenses.

These preventive controls by the Local Police in the streets La Inés, Triana, Manolo Millares and some neighborhoods of Arrecife closed in the early hours of Saturday, September 20, with the opening of a sanction to a nightlife business for non-compliance with municipal ordinances, referring to its activity, and three files have been initiated against three people for possession of narcotics, as stipulated in Law 4/2015, the Organic Law that regulates the scope of protection of citizen security.

 

Eradicating the sale and presence of drugs in the city

The agents of the USCI of the Local Police of Arrecife are intensifying their presence in different sensitive areas and public spaces of Arrecife to combat the sale and consumption of drugs, especially among adolescents.

For these controls and deployments, the Local Police is reinforced with dogs belonging to the Canary Unit of Arrecife, one of the most awarded in the peripheral islands of both Archipelagos.
