An uninhabited tourist complex suffered a fire on Sunday night in Puerto del Carmen, on Avenida de las Playas. The fire started around 10:30 p.m., according to reports from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium.
The firefighters managed to extinguish the flames and ended the service around 12:00 a.m. As no one lives in this complex, there was no personal injury and there was no risk to any resident in the area, as the Local Police of Tías explained to La Voz.
This complex is starting rehabilitation works and that is precisely why there was a lot of wood inside.
