Several areas of the municipalities of Teguise and Haría were affected on Wednesday morning by a power outage caused by the action of the excavators of the company Construcciones Francisco Rivera Rodríguez, according to Unelco.
The electricity company explains that the events happened at 12:28 hours, when one of the machines was carrying out excavation work in Arcoiris street in Arrieta (Haría), and for unknown reasons, damaged the medium voltage line (20,000 volts) called Norte- Graciosa and owned by Unelco Endesa.
The actions of the Incident Services of the electricity company meant that at 13:01 hours, the supply could be restored to all customers affected by the outage. Unelco has communicated in this regard that it regrets the "unfortunate circumstances caused to third parties" and wishes to thank the understanding of customers affected by incidents "beyond our control".
