Firefighters from the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote have deployed this Wednesday morning following the alert of a fire in a home in Arrecife.
The incident occurred on Doctor Ruperto González Negrín street, in the very center of the capital of Lanzarote, in a residential building. Specifically, the alarm was raised by an accidental alert that reported that a property on the second floor was on fire.
As reported by the Consortium of Security and Emergencies, the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center 1-1-2 confirmed that no one was in the home when the Emergency teams arrived.
These same sources state that the fire started in the property's kitchen and spread to the living room.
