The National Police has arrested two men and a woman, 44, 40 and 30 years old respectively, all with police records, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force and damage.
On August 23, in Arrecife, agents of the National Police carrying out tasks of their function are required by a citizen of the cleaning staff of the city council of the capital of Lanzarote, who, having previously observed a kind of white smoke coming from a vehicle, was trying to extinguish the fire that was burning the car with his own extinguisher.
The national police officers, when approaching the place, proceed to communicate the fire to the CIMACC 091 Room so that they commission a fire brigade, who, when appearing where the fire was taking place, used a total of 20 liters to extinguish it.
The investigation carried out by the agents of the National Police, managed to locate the owner of the burned vehicle and, once the victim appears in police units, she states that in the trunk of the vehicle there was a scooter of her property and that she believes she can identify the possible perpetrators of the crime of robbery with force and damage to her vehicle.
The victim acknowledged in her statement that she had a debt with those subsequently arrested. Said debt being a consequence of the purchase of narcotic substances.
Thanks to the investigation work of the National Police, the full identification and location of the alleged perpetrators of the crime was achieved, proceeding to their immediate arrest on August 27 as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with force and damage.
Once the police report was completed, the three detainees were placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, who ordered their release with charges.
