A 52-year-old woman was injured with multiple contusions this Friday after being hit in the vicinity of the Open Mall shopping center in Arrecife. The events took place at 11:00 a.m. this Friday, when the woman was hit by a vehicle near the parking area of this space.
An ambulance with basic life support and a patrol car from the Local Police of Arrecife moved to the scene. This was reported to La Voz by sources from the Coordinating Center for Emergencies (CECOES).
According to police sources to this editorial team, it is not a serious accident. According to a witness, the woman was crossing the crosswalk of the shopping center, at that moment, she was hit by a white van. According to her version, the driver got out of the vehicle and claimed that he did not see her. After that, and according to police sources, the driver left the scene.
