A woman arrested after stealing from a shop in Costa Teguise with a "rigged" bag

According to the Civil Guard, the arrested woman stole two bottles of perfume valued at 600 euros.

The Civil Guard of the Main Post of Costa Teguise arrested on June 26 a woman with initials M.M.S.M., of Spanish nationality, 43 years of age and with a police record for crimes against property, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force in things carried out in a shop in Costa Teguise. According to the Benemérita, she stole two bottles of perfume valued at 600 euros "with the help of a rigged bag".

The investigation began on the 25th, when a person in charge of the shop reported the theft, which had been committed on the 3rd in his shop. The affected person related that a woman had entered the establishment and had aroused the suspicions of the workers of the place, later observing an employee that she quickly took several bottles of perfume and left without the corresponding alarm going off- from the shop and without being able to reach her. When she returned to the place of the theft, she saw that there were several empty perfume boxes.

After viewing the recordings of the images from the security cameras of the establishment, the agents in charge of the investigation identified the alleged perpetrator, who was also identified by means of the corresponding photographic recognition of the workers of the affected commercial premises.

From the inquiries and collected evidence, the agents of the Investigation Area arrested M.M.S.M. as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force in things, being placed at the disposal of the corresponding Court in functions of guard of Arrecife.
