A vehicle fell into a sinkhole near Papagayo, in the municipality of Yaiza, on Tuesday morning. According to the Emergency Consortium, the events occurred around 10:47 a.m. and the occupants of the car were able to get out on their own.
Firefighters traveled to the scene and found that it was a rental vehicle that had become inoperative after falling into a sinkhole.
Then, with the help of a winch, the firefighters extracted the vehicle from the hole and it returned to normal operation.
