A van crashed into the sea this Tuesday in the Puerto Calero area, although, luckily, its driver was not inside and there was no personal injury to regret.

The events took place at around 10:50 a.m., with firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium, Emerlan and Local Police officers moving to the scene.
According to reports from the Security and Emergency Consortium, the van was parked in a dirt parking lot located on Cortijo Viejo street, near the Hotel Hesperia Puerto Calero, when it plunged into the water. "The handbrake was probably not properly applied," said its manager, Enrique Espinosa.

Upon the arrival of the firefighters, the driver was taking his belongings out of the vehicle, so they did not intervene.
