A 50-year-old paraglider has been moderately injured after suffering a fall of about 20 meters in height near the roundabout to Puerto Calero, in the municipality of Tías. The accident took place at 11.26 am this Saturday, according to CECOES.
After being alerted, agents of the Local Police, Civil Guard, Civil Protection of Tías, Boluntis, the Emergency Consortium and two ambulances, one medicalized and another basic life support, have been moved to the scene.
The firefighters have rescued the affected person and transferred him to the health resources. The medical personnel have assisted the injured person who presented several moderate traumas and after stabilizing him, they have evacuated him to Molina Orosa.
The Civil Guard has been in charge of the report and the Local Police has collaborated with the resources.
