The association of prison workers, Your Abandonment Can Kill Me (TAMPM), denounces a new aggression against an official in the Tahíche prison. As they explain in a statement, the events occurred during the night closure of cells, around 8:00 p.m. At that time, "the officials realize that something is happening, since they find a crowd of inmates at the door of one of the cells."
As explained by TAMPM, when the workers arrived at the place they found two inmates beating a third. Several of the officials intervene to separate the fight, one of them being attacked with a punch in his face. "Not satisfied with that while the beaten inmate was being transferred to the infirmary of the center the aggressor was being taken to the isolation department, throwing all kinds of threats along the way such as "I'm going to kill you when I go out on the street sons of bitches".
Finally, the Association recalls "the precarious conditions in which they work, being witnesses and victims of the inability of this management team to solve this problem with the connivance of the General Secretariat".
