A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after leaving the LZ-40 road, in the Puerto del Carmen area, municipality of Tías
The accident occurred at 06:28 this Thursday when CECOES received an alert reporting that a motorcyclist had fallen down an embankment after a road departure and needed medical assistance.
Agents of the Civil Guard, and two ambulances, one medicalized and another with basic life support, from the SUC have traveled to the scene.
The medical personnel has assisted the injured person who presented serious polytrauma and once stabilized has been transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Civil Guard has been in charge of regulating traffic on the road and carrying out the corresponding report.
