A minor in distress was rescued from the sea in the Papagayo area this Friday, according to reports from the Emergency Consortium.
The child, who was using a float, was unable to get out of the water, so the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) was alerted. Firefighters from the South Park traveled to the area in an aquatic vehicle, and when they arrived, a catamaran had already rescued the child.
After confirming that the child was safe on land and in good condition, the medical services spoke with the parents and concluded the intervention.
