A man had to be evacuated this Monday from one of the beaches of Papagayo in the town of Playa Blanca, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The man presented respiratory and mobility difficulties.
CECOES was alerted around 1:00 p.m., and firefighters and a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched there.
The health personnel assisted the swimmer who was suffering from a disabling back pain. The firefighters collaborated in his transfer since the affected person was about seventy meters from the medicalized ambulance that had arrived in the area.
Once in the ambulance he was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife.
