Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, in a joint action with paramedics, rescued a man this Sunday who had been hit on Famara beach. The events took place at around 6:50 p.m.
Upon the arrival of the firefighters, the injured man was in the central part of the beach, on the shore. The man complained of a strong pain in his left thigh and could not walk. Thus, they proceeded to immobilize his leg and transfer him to a rescue stretcher.
From the Local Police vehicle, he was transferred to the ambulance, which was waiting on the paved road.
