A man was injured this Thursday after having a struggle with another who was trying to rob him in Arrecife. The robbery took place in the afternoon, around 4:57 p.m. on Góngora Street, in the capital of Lanzarote.
The victim was walking on the public road when he met the thief who pounced on him to rob him. The attacker, who had his face covered, had a knife in his hand, which he used to approach the victim.
Immediately afterwards, the man took a stick and tried to confront the thief, at which point a fight broke out between them. After the confrontation, the victim ended up with a wound on his hand.
Finally, the agents of the National Police located the assailant and he was arrested, as police sources have informed La Voz.
