A gathering of deniers in Arrecife ends with one person arrested for assaulting two local police officers. At around 6:30 p.m., about thirty people were demonstrating this Saturday, April 24, in front of the City Hall under slogans such as "Stop false pandemic, Stop Covid fashion".
According to La Voz, the Local Police had to intervene when some of the protesters invaded the road. One of them, who was not wearing a mask, began to berate the officers and ended up assaulting them, for which he was arrested and transferred to the National Police Station. The arrested person is a foreigner residing in the capital of Lanzarote.
After this altercation, the gathering continued normally.
