Two female workers from the Zonzamas environmental complex found a human fetus in one of the pits this Thursday morning, as confirmed to La Voz by councilor Hugo Delgado.
"It was two workers who, during the triage of the garbage that comes to us from the towns, found the fetus, and immediately the area was closed, the plant was stopped, and the Civil Guard was called," explains Delgado.
From the Civil Guard, they have indicated to La Voz that they are awaiting the forensic report, which is the one that has to pronounce, to initiate or not an investigation, since for the moment they lack more information about the discovery.
Members of the Judicial Police have traveled to the scene and proceeded to remove the body. The Judicial Police reviewed the security camera recordings of the pits of the Zonzamas Environmental Complex to try to find clues to clarify what happened.
