A resident of Mozaga has reported to the Civil Guard the assault he suffered by a man after allegedly trying to run over his minor daughter with his vehicle. The events occurred on April 24 when the father and daughter were about to enter their home.
Apparently, the assault took place as a result of a dispute with the mother-in-law of the alleged aggressor over some land. "When my daughter and I were arriving home, I was already going up the stairs but she was behind me and at that moment I hear a hit, so I turn around and saw the car that hit the sidewalk and my daughter in a state of shock," he says. At that moment, the man got out of the vehicle and the minor's father asked for explanations of what he was doing.
"At that moment is when he comes towards me and assaults me from all sides, so I go to the doctor to have a medical report. I told him that he was wrong while he was hitting me and hurting me, but he continued," says the affected.
After the events, the daughter has presented problems sleeping due to the shock of the incident that is reflected in the medical report after going to the Emergency Room. In addition, the report also exposes the "lack of concentration, poor appetite and fear of going outside and meeting the alleged aggressor."
In addition, as a result of the aggression, the man was carrying his dog in his arms and after the fight, "the dog began to expel feces with blood, which may have been due to some blow given by the defendant," according to the complaint to which La Voz has had access.
For these events, the man went to file a complaint with the Civil Guard. "He himself admitted to the Civil Guard that he lost his head," he says in reference to the aggression. In addition, the complainant points out that "the alleged aggressor works as a concierge in a school and is a coach of a sports team on the island," so he also informed the Teguise City Council about the events.
