A drunk passenger has once again disturbed the order of a flight between Manchester and Lanzarote and turned it "into a hell" for the rest of the passengers. The events occurred in early July on a Ryanair low-cost airline plane, an hour after departing from the United Kingdom to the Canary Island.

A group of tourists began to vape and drink in the middle of the journey. Afterwards, one of the passengers in the group got up and began to act aggressively. This has been narrated by the Irish newspapers Irish Independent and The Irish Sun, through the testimony of another passenger.

This other passenger is an Irish farmer named Stuart Wilson, 52, who, faced with this situation, decided to act as "air security" for the flight and, with the help of another airline customer, tried to relax the atmosphere.

Wilson told The Irish Independent that the conflicting passenger was sleeping and when he woke up he started arguing with his partner. "She was basically screaming and crying and he called her obscenities that I can't even mention," he explained.

According to this same testimony, the individual "started hitting the roof of the plane and the headrests", also "pulled his partner's hair, causing her glasses to fall to the ground".

Wilson said that the conflicting passenger ended up fighting with another of his group who tried to intervene. In addition, he indicated that the drunk traveler continued to spout insults against his girlfriend, while ignoring his companions' request to sit down.

The situation worsened, even "an elderly person on the plane started crying", while people shouted at the passenger to stop. This Irish farmer and another tourist decided to intervene after airline personnel took the man to the front of the plane and he returned even angrier.

This passenger confessed that "he was worried about the young woman, because he was becoming increasingly aggressive. I approached and stood in front of him, I spoke to him clearly: "I'm not going to accept any of your crap, you're not going to do anything to your girlfriend, I told him, you're not going to touch anyone on this plane."

Despite his courage to intervene, Stuart Wilson was afraid that the situation would become even more complicated and that he would end up being arrested by the police for trying to help. Meanwhile, according to The Irish SunRyanair assures that the situation was resolved by crew members after a couple of passengers "caused problems during the flight".
