A dead cow has appeared floating near the coast of Lanzarote, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.
Once Maritime Rescue was alerted, the salvamar Al Nair was transferred and recovered the body of the animal that was four miles from Arrecife. "In addition to saving lives, protecting boats, working to share #CleanSeas and controlling maritime traffic... at sea we do what the people of the sea need", he pointed out on his social networks.
It is not the first time that a dead animal has appeared on the coasts of Lanzarote, in June of last year a cow appeared dead in Costa Teguise. It has probably been thrown overboard from some ship that transports them. "Now the Civil Guard will carry out investigations to see which ship it could have been", they point out from the Emergency Consortium.
