A 39-year-old cyclist has been injured after being hit by a motorcycle this Sunday in Arrecife, according to the Canary Islands Government's Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES).
The accident took place around 12 noon on León y Castillo street, and the impact broke the bicycle in two. After being alerted by CECOES, agents of the Local Police, two ambulances, one basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service and another from Emerlan, and the Emergency Consortium were dispatched.
The healthcare personnel attended to the affected person, who presented minor multiple contusions, and after being stabilized, was transferred to Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police have carried out the corresponding report and the firefighters have been in charge of cleaning the road since oil had fallen after the motorcycle fell.
